Procedure of Reusing the Waveform Setup with Another Hardware Configuration

1. Open the setting file with Notepad or Xml Editor and move to hardware configuration part (see below). "Source_IntArb_HwSystem" indicates it was created for M x 1(For

Signal Generator) hardware system.

2. If user wants to reuse it in another hardware system, for example 1 Ant Tx(for PXB), replace hardware type "Source_IntArb_HwSystem" with

"Source_N5106_HwSystem" (hardware system type for 1 Ant Tx (for PXB), see mapping table below).

Then seek to the <SgModel> part, change the target instrument type to "N5106A" (target instrument type for 1 Ant Tx(for PXB), see mapping table below). Note that for

Mx2 or MIMO case, two occurrences of <TargetInst> shall be replaced.

3. Save the setting file and then open it in Signal Studio, user can get the original waveform setup with the new hardware system.
