Graphs View

Clicking displays the graph view. Click this button again to close the graph view. The graph view is divided into two areas: the CCDF plot on the left side and the waveform plot on the right side. A waveform can be plotted only after it has been generated. If there is more than one carrier, you can select each carrier or the overall carriers to view the graphs.

CCDF Plot

The complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) plot displays the generated waveform's calculated peak-to-average power ratio (measured in dB) along a scale of percent probability. The table to the left of the CCDF plot displays the calculated peak-to-average values for the current waveform, represented by the yellow curve. For additional information, see Understanding CCDF Curves.

Click the CCDF Gaussian button to toggle the band-limited Gaussian noise reference curve (shown in blue) on or off.

Click the Reference button to toggle the CCDF reference trace (shown in red) on or off.

Click the Acquire Ref. button to save the current CCDF result as the reference trace.

Select Waveform CCDF to show the CCDF plot calculated using the entire waveform.

Select Burst CCDF to show the CCDF plot calculated using only the active portion of the waveform, excluding the idle portion.

Waveform Plot

Click the Spectrum button to select from the list of different waveform plots. Selections include Spectrum (shown above), ClosedI+Q, ClosedI|Q, and ClosedPower. Each click selects the next plot type in the list. You can also click the arrow to access a drop-down menu where you can make a direct selection.

I+Q plots the I and Q curves overlapped.

I|Q displays the I and Q curves separately.
