When the payload is selected as ”Test Pattern”, the test signal is a stream of pure PRBS without any TS framing structure. PRBS, all ones or all zeros, could be used as the basic serial BER stream.
The following figure shows the menu on which the payload of the test stream can be selected.
When the payload is selected as ”Demo file”, the file could be PAL or NTSC, depending on the TS decoder output.
When the payload is selected as ”TS file”, user can input TS file created from other TS compiler tools as the physical layer payload.
When the payload is selected as ”TS file wizard”, a TS compiler wizard will help users to input any TS file (or multiple TS files) as payload to the physical layer. Just follow the wizard for TS video file stuffing, truncating and looping, so that it could smoothly playback on the signal generation platforms.
