PLP (Physical Layer Pipe)

1. PLP Settings

LDPC Frame Length

Choice: Normal | Short

Default: Normal

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select whether to use normal LDPC block size or short LDPC block size in DVB-T2.

LDPC Code Rate

Choice: 1/2 | 3/5 | 2/3 | 3/4 |4/5 | 5/6

Default: 1/2

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the LDPC code rate of DVB-T2.

FEC Block Number

Range: different setting has different range, the minimum is 1.

Default: 2

FEC block number in a T2 frame.

Modulation Type

Choice: QPSK | 16QAM | 64QAM | 256QAM

Default: QPSK

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the modulation type.

Constellation Rotation

Choice: True | False

Default: False

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the whether constellation rotated.

Time Interleaving Block Number per Interleaving

Range: 0 to FEC Block Number

Default: 1

Set the number of time interleaving blocks per interleaving frame. The value “0” means no time interleaving is applied.

Time Interleaving Type

Default: TYPE 0

This version only supports the TYPE 0.

IF Number Per T2 Frame

Range: different setting has different range 

Default: 1

This version only supports one IF per T2 Frame.

PLP Cell Number

Show the PLP Number in one frame.

PLP ID

Range: 0 to 255

Default: 0

Set the PLP ID of this PLP.

PLP Group ID

Range: 0 to 255

Default: 0

The supported file size for current settings.

Set the PLP Group ID of this PLP.

4. Data Source Settings

Supported File Size

The supported file size for current settings.

Payload

The payload settings.

Data Source Type

Choice:

Normal: Test Pattern | Demo File | TS File | TS File Wizard

When RS Encoder is off: Test Pattern | TS File  

For DVB-H: Test Pattern | TS File

For one-seg ISDB-T: Test Pattern | TS File | TS File Wizard 

Default: Test Pattern

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select which type to be used as the data source.

If "TS File" is selected, "File Name" is required; If "TS File Wizard" is selected, "File Wizard" is available.

Pattern Bits

The data bits used as test pattern.

Click the right button to open "Data Pattern Selection" dialog and select test pattern to use.

SYNC Insertion

Choice: True | False

Default: False

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to determine whether a SYNC byte (0x47) should be inserted into the test pattern.
