The status bar updates in real-time to let you know the status of running operations, such as waveform generation. It also displays hardware connectivity information, the total sample points of the waveform and the progress of waveform generation. No hardware connected is displayed until the hardware is connected.
If "Connecting Hardware..." continues to be displayed and does not change to "Ready" within a few minutes, verify that the IO Libraries are properly configured for the connected instruments.
This area shows the status of the software's setup.
The following are some of the possible run status messages:

Downloading the waveform to instrument as configured in Hardware. |
