Adding Carriers for DOCSIS

1. Clicking the Add Carrier button in the Waveform Setup node, offers the following drop-down choices:

   • DOCSIS 3.0 Downstream

   • DOCSIS 3.1 Downstream

   

2. You can add a DOCSIS 3.0 downstream carrier to create a cable-loading signal with both DOCSIS 3.1 and 3.0 carriers, as shown below.

   

3. You can add or remove other DOCSIS 3.0 or DOCSIS 3.1 carriers. However, the first carrier must be DOCSIS 3.1 Downstream carrier, otherwise an error message occurs before waveform generation, as shown below.
