The software controls PUCCH transmission based on the HARQ packet number. The Demodulation Reference signals (DMRS) for PUSCH can be automatically configured or manually configured for each slot using the parameter settings in the DMRS Slot Settings tab.
When using multiple instruments as shown in the tree view, inaccurate test data may occur if a combination of the GUI and SCPI is used to set or modify the instrument and test parameters. The software will not reflect changes made outside of the GUI even with the use of the Update from Instrument button. For all tests, use only one method to configure the settings, GUI or SCPI.
When configuring multiple instruments with SCPI instead of using the GUI, the commands must be executed for each instrument.
When using multiple instruments as shown in the tree view, after clicking the State On button, all settings for this window gray out and cannot be changed. To change the settings, first click the State Off button.

This button displays in place of the Settings Current button. It indicates that the instrument settings are not currrent and need to be updated with the new software settings. Click this button to update the insturment's settings. This button shows in all windows regardless of where the change was made. When using multiple instruments as shown in the tree view, this button is not displayed. |
Choice: Off | On
Default: On
Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the state for the PUSCH.

Range: -60 to 20 dB
Default: 0 dB
Enter a power level in dB for the selected channel relative to the carrier power.
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:POWer <val>
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:POWer?
Choice: Auto | Manual
Default: Auto
Coupling: This setting is inactive and set to AUTO when using multiple instruments as shown in the tree view.
Enter the mode of the PUSCH parameter calculation.
Auto |
The software calculates the DMRS hopping parameters using: nDMRS(1), nDMRS(2), and Delta SS.The Hopping Type parameter is active in this mode. |
Manual |
This choice allows you to enter the DMRS hopping parameters; Sequence Index, Group Index, and Cyclic Shift for slot 0 to 19 in the DMRS Parameter Settings tab. The pattern for the twenty slots is repeated during data generation. |
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:CALCulation AUTO|MANual
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:CALCulation?
Range: 1 to Maximum resource blocks determined by the Transmission Bandwidth selection.
Default: 6 (1.4MHz BW), 15 (3MHz BW), 25 (5MHz BW), 50 (10MHz BW), 75 (15MHz BW), 100 (20MHz BW)
Enter an integer between 1 and the maximum number of resource blocks. The maximum value depends on the current transmission bandwidth.
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:ORBLock:SIZE <val>
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:ORBLock:SIZE?
Range 0 to (Maximum resource blocks - Assigned resource block size - 1)
Default: 0
Enter the number of resource blocks to offset the transmission of this UE.
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:ORBLock:OFFSet <val>
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:ORBLock:OFFSet?
The DMRS is used for synchronization and uplink channel estimation and is allocated with PUSCH on all subframes. The DMRS for PUSCH are transmitted in the fourth symbol, (third symbol for extended CP) in a PUSCH slot and the RS sequence length equals the number of allocated subcarriers (12). The DMRS uses the same resource block size and resource block offset that is used by PUSCH; however, the demodulation RS power can be set independently.
Range:-60 to 20 dB
Default: 0 dB
Enter a power level in dB for the power of demodulation reference. The power of the demodulation RS can be set independently from PUSCH power.
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:DMRSignal:POWer <val>
[:SOURce]:RADio:LTE:FDD[:BBG]:ULINk:PUSCh:DMRSignal:POWer?
Range:0 to 29
Default: 0
Enter a value to calculate the sequence-shift pattern for PUSCH DMRS.This value is used when the Parameter Calculation mode is set to Auto. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.211 for more details.

Default: 0
Coupling:
This setting is active when the Parameter Calculation Mode is set to Auto, and the software is controlling only one instrument as shown in the tree view.
A change to the Cyclic Shift Field in Uplink-Related DCI Format value or the Antenna Port Number may change this value.
Enter a value to calculate the cyclic shift alpha for the PUSCH DMRS data pattern. Refer 3GPP TS 36.211 for more details.
When using multiple instruments as shown in the tree view, this setting is a display only parameter where its value is calculated by the software using the Cyclic Shift Field in Uplink-related DCI and Antenna Port settings.
