Installing the License for SystemVue ESL Design Software

Before installing the license file, save a backup copy in a safe place.

Fixed Licenses

  1. Save the license file to a convenient location on the host PC.

  2. From the Start menu in Windows, launch Keysight License Manager. Verify that the Host ID matches the host PC you are trying to license.

  3. Within Keysight License Manager select File > Install then navigate to the license file and install it.

Floating Licenses

  1. Save the license file to a convenient location on the server PC.

  2. From the Start menu in Windows, launch Keysight License Manager. Verify that the Host ID matches the server PC you are trying to license.

  3. Within Keysight License Manager select File > Install then navigate to the license file and install it.

  4. Move to the client PC(s) and install the licenses on each client, following the same steps. On the client PCs, the Host ID shown in Keysight License Manager will be different than the one matching the server PC.

  5. Client PCs must have a network link to the server PC before the licenses will work, as the licenses are validated by the server.
