DL-SCH Tx Sequence Window (Advanced LTE-A TDD Downlink)

Select a DL-SCH channel in the Channel Setup node, then click the button in the Transmission Configuration cell to open the DL-SCH Tx sequence window.  

The DL-SCH TX window displays the transmission sequence defined in the Channel Setup node for the selected DL-SCH channel.

The settings configured in the Channel Setup node and the DL-SCH Tx sequence window are displayed in the Tx Map.

Enter MCS index of DL-SCH.

In case of MCS Index = 0 to 28 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 1 case), 0 to 27 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 2 case), 0 to 26 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 3 case) or 0 to 58 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 4 case), both parameters, Modulation and TBS Index, are automatically selected by the software.

When Transmission Setting Mode is set to Manual, this parameter is invisible.

Use the drop-down menu to select TBS Index for the channel, if MCS Index 0 is 29 to 31 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 1 case), 28 to 31 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 2 case), 27 to 31 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 3 case) or 59 to 63 (Modulation and TBS Index Table is Table 4 case).

The maximum range value is dependent on the UE Category and the number of spatial multiplexing layers mapped to the transport block.

Coupling: Active when Transmission Setting Mode is set to Manual

Enter a value for the transport Block Size for Codeword 0. When inactive, the software sets the block size in accordance with the 3GPP standards.

Block Size 1

Range:   1 to 97896 (C-RNTI, mapped to one layer) or limited by UE Category

1 to 195816 (C-RNTI, mapped to two layers) or limited by UE Category

1 to 293736 (C-RNTI, mapped to three layers) or limited by UE Category

1 to 391656 (C-RNTI, mapped to four layers) or limited by UE Category

1 to 2216 (SI-RNTI or P-RNTI)

Enter a value for the transport Block Size for Codeword 1. When inactive, the software sets the block size in accordance with the 3GPP standards.

N_1A_PRB (for SI-RNTI or P-RNTI)

This parameter selects the number of physical resource blocks.

RV Index 0

Range: 0 to 3

Default: 0

Enter a value for the redundancy version (RV) index for Codeword 0.

RV Index 1

Range: 0 to 3

Default: 0

Enter a value for the redundancy version (RV) index for Codeword 1.

RB Offset

Range: 0 to RBmax – 1

Default: 0

Enter the number of resource blocks by which to offset the DL-SCH sequence.

RB Size

Range: 1 to RBmax

Default: 25

Enter the number of resource blocks in the frequency domain for the DL-SCH sequence.

PDSCH RE Map QCL Ind

Range: 0–3

Default: 0

Coupling: Visible when the Transmission Mode selection is 10.

Enter a value for the PDSCH RE Mapping and Quasi-Co-Location Indicator.
