Sending SCPI Commands with Connection Expert

1. On your PC, open the Keysight Connection Expert.

   1. Click Start > All Programs > Keysight IO Libraries Suite > Keysight Connection Expert.

   2. If you do not have Keysight IO Libraries Suite installed on your PC, you can download it at http://www.keysight.com/find/iolib.

2. In the Instrument IO on this PC tree view, select the master ESG/PSG.

   

3. If the Task Guide view is not enabled, go to View > Task Guide.

4. In the Tasks for This Instrument column, click Send Commands to this Instrument to open the Keysight Interactive IO dialog window.

   

   

5. Enter the SCPI command in the Command: text box. (See the drop-down figure.)

   

6. Click the Send Command button to send the command, or the Send & Read button to send the command and read the response in the Instrument Session History: window. (See the drop-down figure.)
