Carrier
1. General Settings
Enabled
Select/ deselect the Enable check box to enable/ disable the channel or signal in a radio frame.
Power
Range: -40 - 40dB
Default: 0dB
Set the power of the carrier relative to others.
System Sample Frequency
Display the system sampling rate in Hz.
Initial Phase
Range: 0 - 360
Default: 0
Enter the initial phase of the carrier signal in degree.
Frequency Offset
Default: 0
Enter the frequency offset to the carrier signal in Hz. The max absolute offset is limited by System Sample Frequency * Oversampling Ratio / 2.56 - Actual Bandwidth / 2. (For VZW, actual bandwidth of each carrier is 99MHz.)
Timing Offset
Range: 0 - Frame length
Default: 0
Set the timing offset of the carrier relative to others.
2. Cell Settings
Cell ID
Range: 0 - 503
Default: 0
Set the cell ID for the carrier. Cell ID is calculated by Cell ID = 3 * N_ID(1) + N_ID(2).
Subcarrier Spacing
The Subcarrier spacing field displays the subcarrier spacing.
Number of Symbols for Resource Block
The Number of Symbols for Resource Block field displays the number of OFDM symbols in one resource block.
Number of Subcarriers for Resource Block
The Number of Subcarriers for Resource Block field displays the number of subcarriers in one resource block.
Total Number of Resource Blocks
The Total Number of Resource Blocks field displays the total number of resource blocks for one carrier.
Total Number of Occupied Subcarriers
The Total Number of Occupied Subcarriers field displays the total number of occupied subcarriers for one carrier.
3. Spectrum Control
Filter
Choices: None | Gaussian | Root Nyquist | Nyquist | Rectangle | User Defined
Default: None
Select the filter type to be applied to the waveform. The OFDM Filter Editor dialog appears.
Window Beta
Range: 0 - 0.5
Default: 0.01
Set the windowing length used to smooth OFDM symbol transitions. Specify this value as a fraction of FFT Length, not the percentage.
Windowing Method
Choices: Centered at Symbol Boundary | Starting at Symbol Boundary
Default: Centered at Symbol Boundary
Select the windowing method applied to the OFDM symbol transitions. The raised cosine window can be centered at the OFDM symbol boundary, or starting from the OFDM symbol boundary.
Graph View
The graph view displays several different representations of the generated waveform. For more information, see Graph View.
