The Wireless Protocol Advisor (WPA) attempts to decode any messages as text when the Data Coding Scheme value is set to a value that corresponds to text. If the content of the CBS message being transmitted is data (not text), the WPA still attempts to decode the message as text which will not be accurate. You must ensure that Data Coding Scheme is set to an appropriate value.
In case CBS is not received by the UE due to certain broadcast messages confliction with the UE specific paging occasions (see detailed descriptions in 3GPP TS 25.304 section 6.2), use the following steps to ensure a successful reception:
