M8190A Arbitrary Waveform Generator

If you are using Pulse Building software with an M8190A arbitrary waveform generator be sure that the M8190A firmware version 2.3.1.0 or later is installed and functional on the AXIe embedded controller or on the PC that is physically connected to the M8190A hardware.

M8190A Arbitrary Waveform Generator Firmware (installed on controlling PC)

Firmware version 2.3.1.0 or later. Requires Keysight IO Libraries version 18.0 or later.

Installation/setup steps

1. Install Keysight IO libraries version 18.0 or later on the controlling PC.

2. Install M8190A Firmware Version 2.3.1.0 or later on the PC controlling the M8190A hardware. This may be the AXIe embedded controller. See the M8190A Getting Started Guide for detailed steps.

3. Start the M8190A firmware.

4. Open Keysight IO Connection Expert.

5. Select the LAN interface and create a new instrument for the M8190A using localhost.

   

The N7620B software can be loaded on the PC running the M8190A firmware or on a PC connected to the PC running the M8190A firmware.

M9330A/N6030A Arbitrary Waveform Generator

If you are using Pulse Building software with an N603xA/M933xA arbitrary waveform generator, install M9330A IVI driver version 2.01.0001 or later on the PC connected to the N603xA/M933xA hardware.

N8241A Arbitrary Waveform Generator

If you are using Pulse Building software with an N824xA arbitrary waveform generator, install N8241A IVI driver version 1.31.3 or later on the PC running the Pulse Building software.
