Finding Drivers and Keeping Your I/O Software Up to Date
The following IO Libraries features are the easiest ways to find and update drivers and to keep the IO Libraries Suite software up to date.
- The version update feature (Windows and Linux)
- The driver update feature (Windows only, Instruments View, Update button next to Installed IVI drivers).
However, you can also use the manual methods described below.
Where Can I Find Instrument Drivers?
This section contains information that applies to both Windows and Windows on ARM.
There are many instrument drivers available on the Keysight Web site (http://www.keysight.com), and on the instrument-specific disks you may receive with your Keysight instruments.
Instrument Drivers on the Web
You can find the latest instrument drivers at http://www.keysight.com/find/drivers. New and improved drivers are posted on the Web, so you may find newer versions there than the ones on your disks. You can also search for a specific product's web page (use www.keysight.com/find/<instrument model number> and locate drivers there. For example, to find the latest driver for a Keysight M9019A PXIe chassis, go to www.keysight.com/find/M9019A. click on Visit Technical Support, then select the Drivers, Firmware, & Software tab. Scroll down until you find the driver or software you need.
Instrument Drivers on Disk
If you received an instrument-specific disk with your Keysight instrument purchase, it will probably include drivers for that instrument.
