IO Monitor Log Viewer: Reviewing Previously Logged Data
To open a message file that you have saved (either a saved displayed message stream or a logged message stream), select the Open Message File button. This opens a dialog box allowing you to specify the file you want to view.
This Log Viewer window that opens is similar to the standard IO Monitor window, but the title bar reads Keysight IO Monitor Log Viewer. The log viewer can only be used to view saved log files. Also, you can have multiple Log Viewer windows open at a time, whereas only one IO Monitor window may be open at one time.
When you open a log file from IO Monitor, the file is always opened in a new window. However, if you select that file from the Log Viewer, then you have choice of either opening the file in the existing Log Viewer window or opening the new file in a new window. This allows you to visually compare two saved message files.

Very large log files cannot be loaded into the IO Monitor Viewer. The size of file that can be loaded depends on your system configuration. |
