Output Status
In Instrument View, the output status is shown in the title bar of each output tab.
The output status may include the following:
Output Status | Display in Instrument View | Description |

OV | OVP | over-voltage protection tripped |
OC | OCP | over-current protection tripped |
OT | OT | over-temperature protection tripped |
SF | SF | a sense lead fault has been detected |
PF | PF | a power-fail condition occurred |
CC | CC | the output is in constant current mode |
CV | CV | the output is in constant voltage mode |
EDP | EDP | the output is disabled by excessive output dynamics protection |
INH | INH | an external inhibit signal is received |
CSF | CSF | a current sharing fault occurred |
WTG | WTG | the output is waiting for a trigger |
ON | ON | the output is on |
OFF | OFF | the output is off |
OVNEG | OV– | negative voltage protection tripped |
CPPOS | CP+ | a positive power limit |
CPNEG | CP– | a negative power limit |
PROT | PROT | a coupled output protect occurred |
UNPROT | UPROT | a user-defined protection signal has disabled the output |
CLPOS | CL+ | a positive current limit |
CLNEG | CL– | a negative current limit |
IPKPOS | IPK+ | the output is in positive peak current limit |
IPKNEG | IPK– | the output is in negative peak current limit |
VLPOS | VL+ | a positive voltage limit |
VLNEG | VL– | a negative voltage limit |
UNR | UNR | the output is unregulated |
CAL | CAL | the output is computing new calibration constants |
