IF Input Accuracy Performance Test (Option AYZ)

This test applies only to analyzers equipped with external mixing (Option AYZ).

This test measures the amplitude accuracy of the External IF Input. This test is performed by placing a 321.4 MHz signal of known amplitude into the PSA. The PSA is placed in External Mixing Mode, thus enabling the IF Input port, and the amplitude is measured on the PSA. The difference between the measured amplitude and the known amplitude is called the External IF amplitude error. This error is compared to the specification and a Pass/Fail determination is made. The main source of measurement errors are generated from the Power Meter measurement.
