Input Noise Density Troubleshooting

Related Adjustments:

An increase in the Input Noise Density is often the result of incorrect gain in the signal path. There may be an assembly with low gain that is compensated for by adding excessive gain elsewhere in the signal path. If the PSA passes Displayed Average Noise Level (DANL), but fails Input Noise Density, it would indicate there is a gain problem on the Wide IF Assembly.

See the PSA Service Guide for troubleshooting information.
