IF Frequency Response Full Bypass Path Adjustment

This adjustment applies to the following models:

The goal of this adjustment is to generate corrections for the IF band shape in Full Bypass Path (Option FBP). Option FPB allows both LNP and MPB to be enabled. A separate set of IF corrections are necessary for this RF Path. Since Full Bypass Path only affects frequencies above 3.6 GHz, only Bands 1, 2, 3, 4 are adjusted.

In this adjustment, a –9.5 dBm signal is applied to the DUT. A reference amplitude is taken at the IF center frequency. The source frequency is then changed to a series of offset frequencies within the span of the IF. At each offset frequency, the input amplitude is maintained at –9.5 dBm, and the signal amplitude is measured by the DUT. The offset amplitude is subtracted from the reference amplitude. The resulting envelope created by all the offset amplitudes is the uncorrected IF Frequency Response.
