IF Output Gain Utility

This utility applies to EMI receivers with Option CR3.

The IF Output Gain Utility can be used to verify the IF Output Attenuator Adjustment. The utility inputs a calibrated 300 MHz, -10 dBm signal to the analyzer, and the conversion gain is calculated. The conversion gain is then saved in an output file. If the IF Output Attenuator Adjustment was done properly, the conversion gain will be close to 0 dB. For a faulty EMI receiver, it may be possible that the conversion gain cannot be adjusted close to 0 dB.
