IQ Calibration (Adjustment)

(N5162A / N5166B / N5172B / N5182A / N5182B / N5182N)

For the N5166B, N5172B, N5182B, and N5182N the following calibrations must be performed prior to running this adjustment:

The goal of this calibration is to minimize imperfections in the IQ System and deliver opitmal performance at the RF output connector and the baseband IQ output connectors. It also provides a calibrated input at the IQ input connectors and calibrates the IQ System impairments.

This calibration is divided into the following sections:

calIQGainDacCorr

calibrates IQ Gain DAC corrections

calIqRfOutput

calibrates IQ RF output

calIqExternalInputs

calibrates the IQ External Inputs

calIQExternalOutputs

calibrates the the IQ External Outputs

calIqImpairmentScaling

calibrates the IQ Impairment Scaling

No additional equipment required.
