Spectrum Analyzer Adjustment

This adjustment applies to the following models with firmware A.09.00 and above:

• N9913A/14A/15A/16A/17A/18A
• N9925A/26A/27A/28A

• N9935A/36A/37A/38A

For Fieldfox analyzers with firmware A.09.00 and above, TME will run the five spectrum analyzer adjustments as one "super" adjustment called the Spectrum Analyzer Adjustment. The adjustment uses two different equipment setups. Part one of the procedure will use a signal generator for frequencies above 15 MHz. The second part of the adjustment will use a function generator for frequencies from 9 kHz to 15 MHz.

Part One: Frequencies Above 15 MHz

This part of the Spectrum Analyzer Adjustment will run the following adjustments using a signal generator:

1. Absolute Amplitude
2. Frequency Response
3. Attenuator Slope

4. IF Frequency Response

All models require the E9304A H20 power sensors. N9917A, N9918A N9927A, N9928A N9937A, N9938AHigh frequency models (maximum frequency of 18 GHz or higher) require the N8485A power sensors. N9917A, N9918A N9927A, N9928A N9937A, N9938AHigh frequency models with Option 235 (preamplifier) require the 8485D power sensors to cover the low power range.
