Frequency Accuracy Test

This test applies to the following models:

In this test the 10 MHz output is connected to a counter. The counter is locked to a reference that is 100 times more accurate than the signal analyzer time base. The 10 MHz output is measured by the frequency counter. The frequency is compared to the specification and a Pass/Fail determination is made.

Be sure to enter the appropriate positive value for Frequency Accuracy (ppm) under Additional Properties for the 10 MHz frequency standard. Using the default accuracy will produce very large measurement uncertainties in the test results.
