If existing firmware is A.06.25 or earlier, check setting for time, date, and time zone on the FieldFox instrument to be sure it is accurate before updating the firmware.
N7841A calibration application versions E.04.02 and greater require a minimum version of firmware to be installed in the FieldFox to successfully run tests and adjustments. Refer to the N7841A application Readme for the minimum required version of firmware.

TME will show an error message if it detects that the correct firmware is not installed.

Firmware upgrades do not affect the measurement accuracy of a FieldFox instrument. An annual calibration of a FieldFox remains valid following a firmware upgrade.
