Uncorrected Error Terms Performance Test

This test will check the hardware Error Terms developed during the calibration of a PXIe/USB vector network analyzer. These Error Terms represent hardware imperfections that have been characterized by the measurement of known standards with the intent that the Error Terms can be mathematically removed from any further measurements while using the VNA in its calibrated state, thus improving the accuracy of the VNA measurements.

The test process has been optimized by eliminating the full 2-port calibration. Therefore, the number of connections is reduced in half.
