Freq Resp High Freq Preamp On Adjustment

This adjustment procedure performs the following steps (for Options P13 and P26):

The CXA-m PXIe signal analyzer's internal flatness corrections are turned off. The Preamp is turned on. Amplitude error is measured as a function of frequency from 7.5 GHz to 13.6 GHz (Option P13) or 26.5 GHz (Option P26). The measured error is normalized to 50 MHz to generate corrections relative to 50 MHz. Flatness corrections are generated for each attenuator step. The data is then stored in the analyzer memory as frequency/amplitude pairs.

The related performance test for this adjustment is Freq Resp High Freq Preamp On.

  1. Refer to the main equipment list for a list of alternative models (if available).
  2. The 3.5 mm (m) to 3.5 mm (m) adapter between the power splitter and the DUT is critical in this adjustment. Proper connector care and torqueing practices must be followed in order to insure optimal performance.
