PrbsID (802.16 OFDMA)

PrbsID specifies the Pseudo-random binary sequence ID value for the zone.

PrbsID is sometimes used to help generate the PRBS Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence sequence for the downlink subframe. PrbsId is only used for downlink zones with zone Offset greater than 1. If zone Offset equals 1 (i.e. the first DL Down Link (forward link: from base station to cell phone)-PUSC partial usage of subchannels: Some of the subchannels are allocated to the transmitter. zone), PrbsId is ignored. This property is also used in some cases to control logical subchannel renumbering for DL-PUSC subchannel mapping (in conformance with the standard).
