Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff (802.16 OFDMA)

Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff shows the adjacent subcarrier power difference in dB. The power difference is computed by scanning through the Channel Frequency Response trace and taking the ratio of each bin to the previous bin.

The default trace has a Y-axis from +0.5 dB to -0.5 dB and the X-axis in Hz.

The trace will automatically be averaged if averaging has been turned on for the measurement. The Inst Eq Chan Freq Resp Adj Diff trace shows the current trace that is getting averaged in.

When a signal contains non-used subcarriers, then the Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff trace assumes a smooth interpolation between the used subcarriers.

The Equalizer Training defaults to Preamble only so for both the preamble and data bursts to estimate the channel response, change to either Preamble and pilots or Preamble, pilots and data.
