Overshoot Metrics (Advanced Radar)

This topic describes the Overshoot metrics displayed in the Pulse Table.

The magnitude at the peak level occurring directly after the pulse rising edge (mid-level crossing).

Overshoot is not calculated unless there are at least ten data points associated with the pulse on portion.

The overshoot is calculated as (Overshoot_Voltage minus Average_Top_Level) divided by Average_Range, expressed as a percentage.

When Amplitude Scaling is set to Real, the Overshoot (%) metric is reported in %V units.

When Amplitude Scaling is set to Magnitude, the Overshoot (%) metric is reported in %W units.
