Status (Channel Sounding)

Status displays whether channel response averaging is enabled. Setting MeasSetup > Average > Average Type to RMS (Video) or RMS (Video) Exponential will enable averaging for results.

Disabled - Average Type is set to Off or an unsupported type.

Enabled - Average Type is set to RMS (Video). Measurement results will be averaged with applicable averaging type (default is RMS; see the specific trace in Sounding: Channel N for more details on averaging performed).

Enabled (Exponential) - Average Type is set to RMS (Video) Exponential. Same as RMS (Video) except that averaging continues past the average count with exponential weighting.
