Selecting the Component Test Measurement Type

Menu Path: Analysis > Measurement Type > General Purpose > Component Test

Select the Component Test measurement type to set the VSA to perform component test measurement.

Configure the Component Test Measurement

After selecting the Component Test measurement type, you must configure it to measure your multitone signal. Open the Component Test Properties dialog (Menu Path: Analysis > Component Test Properties ....) to configure the Component Test measurement parameters.

Example recordings

The 89600 VSA includes example Component Test demo signals in the ...\Signals\ComponentTest folder that can be used to help you learn how to use the Component Test Measurement feature. The included signals are listed in the Demo and Recorded Signals topic in the Getting Started book.
