Tone Definition (Channel Quality)

Recall from File... opens a dialog to select a saved multitone definition (.txt) file to recall. The file format is also compatible with N7621 Signal Studio for Multitone Distortion exported multitone definitions.

Save to File... opens a dialog to save (export) a multitone definition (.txt) file. The file format is also compatible with the N7621 Signal Studio for Multitone Distortion multitone definition import function.

N7621 Signal Studio does not support generating stimulus tones that are compatible with VSA when the Compute Unbalanced check box is selected. In this case, use the VSA’s Save to File function to generate the stimulus waveform. You can use PathWave Signal Generation (PWSG) – Advanced Waveform Utility (AWU) to download the waveform to your signal generator.
