Stimulus Definition Tab (Channel Quality)

The Stimulus Definition tab contains the parameters for defining a continuous multitone signal of known tone spacing, and per-tone phase and amplitude configured to emulate varying spectrum occupancy scenarios.

Use the Stimulus Definition trace to interact with the frequency-domain representation of the multitone definition.

The Stimulus Definition tab displays a graphical representation of the currently defined stimulus:

Notches are indicated for tones in the multitone definition which are marked inactive. Notches may result from an imported multitone definition file, or as a result of the Update Stimulus from Response operation.

Entering an odd number of tones will place the center tone on DC. This may affect the channel response measurement at DC if there is significant LO feedthrough.
