About Custom OFDM modulation analysis
89601BHFC adds Custom OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. demodulation and analysis capability to your 89600 Vector Signal Analysis software. 89601BHFC lets you perform modulation analysis on non-standard user defined OFDM signals.
Custom OFDM modulation analysis provides a simple process to configure the VSA to demodulate and analyze a user defined custom OFDM signal. To configure the Custom OFDM demodulator, you create a set of plain text files that describe key parameters and target subcarrier values. These files are loaded into the VSA via the Custom OFDM Properties dialog box, for more information see Making a Custom OFDM Measurement.
Custom OFDM Modulation Analysis Features
- Custom OFDM demodulator supports
- TDD Time Division Duplex: A duplexing technique dividing a radio channel in time to allow downlink operation during part of the frame period and uplink operation in the remainder of the frame period. and FDD Frequency Division Duplex: A duplex scheme in which uplink and downlink transmissions use different frequencies but are typically simultaneous. transmission scheme.
- FFT Fast Fourier Transform: A mathematical operation performed on a time-domain signal to yield the individual spectral components that constitute the signal. See Spectrum. size: up to 65536 subcarriers.
- Subcarrier modulation to 4096QAM.
