Selecting the Custom OFDM Demodulator

Select the CustomOFDM measurement type to set the VSA to demodulate and analyze Custom OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. formatted signals^.

Configure the Demodulator

After selecting the demodulator, you must configure the demodulator to measure your Custom OFDM signal. Open the Custom OFDM Demod Properties dialog (Menu Path: MeasSetup > Custom OFDM Demodulation Properties ....) to configure the Custom OFDM signal parameters.
