Selecting Digital Demod

Menu Path: MeasSetup > Measurement Type > Digital Demod

Selecting the Digital Demod measurement type configures the VSA to demodulate digitally modulated signals such as QAM Quadrature Amplitude Modulation or QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying.

Example recordings

The 89600 VSA includes several example signals that can be used to help you learn how to use the Digital Demodulator. The included signals are listed in the Demo and Recorded Signals topic in the Getting Started book. Specifically, see the signals in these folders: APSK, DTV, GSM Global System for Mobile Communications: Originally developed as a pan-European standard for digital mobile telephony, GSM has become the world’s most widely used mobile system. It is used on the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies in Europe, Asia and Australia, and the 1900 MHz frequency in North America and Latin America. Edge Evo, Other, QAM, QPSK, ShapedOffsetQPSK.
