Initial Settings (DOCSIS 4.0 Downstream)

Initial Settings contains a group of parameters to automatically or manually control FFT Length, Cyclic Prefix, and PLC Start Index.

Parameter	Description
Automatic	When selected, only the autodetected Profile A and NCP modulation assignments are used. Any user-specified Modulation Assignments are ignored (and the User Profiles section is grayed out). Default: Automatic When Automatic is selected, PLC Settings is also set to Automatic.
Manual	When selected, the FFT Length, Cyclic Prefix, and PLC Start Index parameters are manually set.
	FFT Length Set the FFT length for the DOCSIS downstream transmission. Default: 4096 Range: 4096, 8192
	Cyclic Prefix Select the cyclic prefix (or guard interval) length. Default: 5.0 us Range: 0.9375 us, 1.25 us, 2.5 us, 3.75 us, 5.0 us
	PLC Start Index Set the PLC start subcarrier index. Default: 2048 Range: 0 to 3784 (FFT Length = 4096), 0 to 7584 (FFT Length = 8192)
