Inst Spectrum (DOCSIS 4.0 Downstream)

Menu Path: Trace > Data > Channel (x) > Inst Spectrum

Inst Spectrum (Instantaneous Spectrum) trace is the frequency spectrum of the pre-demodulated time data, see Digital Demod Inst Spectrum. If averaging is not selected, Instantaneous Spectrum is identical to the Spectrum data.

If averaging is off, the Inst Spectrum trace is identical to the Spectrum trace, including the trace title.
