Frame Definition Tab (DVB-S2/S2X)

The Frame Definition tab of the DVB-S2/S2X Demod Properties Dialog Box configures the frame definition for each component carrier.

The frame definition settings are applied to either a single carrier or to all carriers, depending on the Component Carrier Selection. Use the Component Carrier drop-down or the Component Carrier Diagram at the top of the tab to switch between component carriers.

The Frame Definition tab contains these parameters:

Frame

• Standard
• Symbol Rate
• Roll-off Factor
• FECFrame Type
• MODCOD
• Pilot Insertion

Payload

• Payload Header
• Payload
• BHC/LDPC Encode On
• Soft Decision Decoding Enabled
• BER Enabled
