Time (GSM/EDGE/EDGE Evo)

The Time trace displays the time data of the slot that was demodulated. The Timeslot parameter determines the slot chosen for demodulation.

The data in this trace is a subset of the Search Time data.

The time scale of this slot is centered around the burst. The middle of the burst is set to 0 msec.

The Time trace shows the time record before demodulation and after pulse search, as shown in the following block diagram.

The Time trace is 25% longer than the demodulated timeslot since the trace displays the time data before demodulation. The Time trace shows 10% of the time data before the demodulated segment and 10% after. For example, in the following illustration, only the section between the first and last grid lines (x-axis) is demodulated.
