Traces Dialog Box
The
dialog provides a way to manage the traces for each measurement. The controls on this dialog are described as follows:- - makes all traces visible by placing a check mark in the Visible column for each trace.
- - makes traces invisible that do not contain data (set to ).
- - deletes any No Data traces from the last trace letter up to the first trace that does not contain . Does not remove traces in the middle of the list.

- when selected, traces are grouped into expanders according to the measurement they belong to. Traces that do not belong to any measurement (Math, Register, No Data, etc.) are shown in a group named .
When cleared, traces are ordered alphabetically by trace letter.
- List of Traces - shows all the traces currently defined in the VSA, regardless of visibility. There are three columns defined for each trace.
- - check box that indicates whether the trace is visible in a VSA window.
- - indicates the trace letter.
- - shows the trace data is selected for a trace. You can click the dropdown button to the right of the trace data name to choose different trace data to show in the trace.
A trace's position in a VSA window is preserved when the trace is hidden and restored when the trace is made visible again.
