Limit Point Editor Dialog Box (Limit Tests)

Limit points can be enter in any order and the attributes changed later. They are automatically sorted into ascending X axis value order. If multiple points have the same X-axis value, the most restrictive point will be tested.

The Limit Point Editor dialog box provides the interface to enter X and Y values for each point on the limit line and decide whether the point is connected or not.

X

The X axis value for the point. This will be either a frequency (frequency domain) or a time (time domain).

Y

The Y axis value for the point. The units for this value will be determined by the limit line X Domain, Y Format and Y Unit together (set in the Units Tab).

When editing a limit point, Offset X and Offset Y check boxes will appear. These allow the X and/or Y values to be offset relative to the previously entered value. To offset an entire line or part of a line, the offset feature can be used on multiple points at the same time.

Connect from previous point check box: Determines whether a point is connected to the previous point or not. Default is selected.
