Adjacent Channels (Markers)
The
properties are used to select and configure adjacent channels 1 thru 5. Each adjacent channel is an independent channel that can be individually configured and selected.Adjacent channel configuration properties include:
-
check box: Controls which adjacent channel are included in the measurement:
-
Selected: The adjacent channel is included in the ACP Adjacent Channel Power: The power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power. measurement.
-
Cleared [default]: The adjacent channel is not included in the ACP measurement.
-
-
: Specifies the adjacent channel offset frequency. The offset frequency is used to determines the upper and lower adjacent channel center frequency (Fc).
-
Upper adjacent channel Fc = Reference channel Fc + Offset frequency
-
Lower adjacent channel Fc = Reference channel Fc - Offset frequency
-
-
: Specifies the adjacent channel bandwidth.
-
(Adjacent Channels): Controls whether the Root Raised Cosine shape is applied to the adjacent channels. When is selected, the Root Raised Cosine shape is applied to all adjacent channels. The reference channel's parameter must be selected for this parameter to be enabled.
-
: Specifies an alpha value for each adjacent channel marker. This parameter can be set individually for each adjacent channel when the checkbox is selected. Set to 0 if you want the Root Raised Cosine shape to be disabled for a specific adjacent channel marker. The checkbox must be selected for this parameter to be enabled.
