ACP Tab (ACP Marker Properties)
The ACP Adjacent Channel Power: The power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power. marker control and configuration properties. This tab contains the parameters to setup and perform an adjacent channel power ratio measurement. The tab configures the reference channel and up to 5 separate adjacent channels.
tab of the dialog box provides theThe ACP marker only applies to trace data that contain spectrum data.
The
tab includes these properties and functions (click on the parameter for more information):- Trace selection dropdown box: at the top of the tab is a dropdown box for selecting the trace on which to enable the ACP marker.
-
ACP check box: Enables the ACP calculation for the active trace.
-
Ref BW: Specifies the ACP measurement reference channel bandwidth.
- Ref Offset: Specifies the reference channel's frequency offset.
-
RRC Shape (Reference channel): Controls whether the Root Raised Cosine shape is applied to the ACP reference channel marker.
-
: Specifies an alpha value for the Root Raised Cosine shape.
-
-
Adjacent Channels: Configuration properties for adjacent channels 1 thru 5.
-
: Include (or not include) the adjacent channel in the ACP measurement.
-
: Specifies the adjacent channel (Lower and Upper) offset frequency.
-
: Specifies the adjacent channel bandwidth.
-
(Adjacent Channels): Controls whether the Root Raised Cosine shape is applied to the adjacent channels. The Reference channel checkbox must be selected for this parameter to be enabled.
-
: Specifies an Alpha value for each adjacent channel marker (Alpha text boxes). The Adjacent Channels RRC Shape checkbox must be selected for this parameter to be enabled.
Set the Alpha = 0 to turn the Root Raised Cosine shape "off" for a specific adjacent channel marker.
