RRC Shape (Reference channel)

Default: cleared

Use the reference channel RRC Shape parameter to control the Root Raised Cosine shape of the ACP Adjacent Channel Power: The power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power. marker's reference channel.

The reference channel's RRC Shape checkbox must be selected to activate the Adjacent Channels > RRC Shape checkbox.

The Alpha parameter specifies an alpha value of the Root Raised Cosine shape for the ACP marker's reference channel. This parameter is only available when the RRC Shape parameter has been selected. The default for Alpha is 0.

When the reference channel's Alpha parameter is set to zero, the Root Raised Cosine filter is effectively disabled for the reference channel. This applies the Root Raised Cosine shape to the adjacent channels but not the reference channel.
