Cable IF Loss (External Mixer)

Range: -100 dB to +100 dB

Cable IF Loss sets the compensation for the path between the mixer output (IF) and the LO/IF port on the X-Series Analyzer.

Since a cable's loss is a function of frequency and the IF frequency depends on the Signal Path, setting the cable loss according to the IF frequency of the Signal Path used will ensure the best accuracy.
