enables 256QAM and adds it to the available and choices ( off) and the list of autodetected modulation groups ( on, set to ) in the LTE Allocation Editor. It also results in the appropriate MCS modulation and coding scheme Index table from 36.213 being used while doing auto-detection based on PDCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel-decoding.
