LTE-Advanced Demod Properties Dialog Box
Menu Path:
The LTE Long Term Evolution-Advanced Demod Properties dialog box contains parameters that let you configure the VSA to demodulate LTE-Advanced signals.
The LTE demodulator must be selected before this dialog box is available. To enable the demodulator, click
The
dialog box contains tab headings that group similar configuration parameters as follows:- Common Tab: Lets you configure the number of component carriers and their frequency offsets.
-
Format Tab: Lets you access basic demod configuration parameters such as sync type, Cell ID, CP 1) Contention period, or 2) Cyclic prefix length, and number of antennas.
-
Profile Tab: Lets you choose which channels are shown on traces and used in calculations, such as EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. or Power, as well as specify user channel allocations and control channel parameters.
-
Time tab: Lets you specify what part of the signal to analyze.
-
Advanced tab: Lets you specify signal adjustment and correction parameters.
- Decode tab: Lets you specify RNTI ranges and set decoding level for PBCH Physical Broadcast Channel, PCFICH Physical Control Format Indicator Channel, PDCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel, PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel, PUSCH Physical Uplink Shared Channel, and PUCCH Physical Uplink Control Channel.
-
5G Candidate: Lets you configure demodulation parameters for 5G candidate signals over LTE-Advanced.
