increases the range in which the demodulator will be able to lock onto component carrier x. Selecting this parameter will increase the frequency offset lock range from ±0.5x subcarrier spacing to ±2.5x subcarrier spacing on either side of the component carrier's center frequency. This increase in range causes the measurement to take longer so this parameter should be selected only when necessary.
