Channel Power (LTE-Advanced)

Channel Power is the average power of a component carrier and is calculated in the time domain over all symbols in the Measurement Interval.

For uplink, the 20 us transition periods before and after subframes (due to power steps or user allocation on/off transitions) are not included in the power calculation when Exclude EVM Transient Time is selected.

For downlink, Channel Power is calculated from the reference measurement channel.

For configurations with multiple component carriers (CC), the Channel Power for each CC is calculated relative to a user-selected Reference CC and displayed in the Cross CC Summary trace.
